Due to the current Covid restrictions we apologise we haven’t been able to run our community events. We are still here working behind the scenes to have things ready to go once the restrictions have eased. In the meantime, you can always reach out to us.

Connected Beginnings are supporting families to break through challenges family’s experiences in access such as transport, limited understanding of how services operate, fear of judgement and discrimination, isolation and navigating sometimes complex service engagement processes. Our commitment is to support all Aboriginal families and their children aged 0-5 years in having a positive experience and start to their schooling lives.

Aboriginal Families First Teachers aims to strengthen the ability of Aboriginal families with children aged 0-5 to build a rich home learning environment. This supports active participation in early childhood education. Through working directly with families and collaborating with early childhood education services, the Aboriginal Families as First Teachers program has been developed to encourage early learning and participation in a quality early childhood education program in the years before school.

Speech Therapy

A partnership with Growing Early Minds will see Ngroo deliver speech therapy for Aboriginal children aged 3-6 years (a priority will be given to little ones starting school in 2022). Speech therapy will be available at Yenu Allowah Aboriginal Child & Family Centre.

If you believe your child would benefit from this service, please feel free to call our office to book in an appointment.
